　　投资者纷纷看好这里，现在已聚合了雪铁龙、可口可乐、SCA、 顶益集团等跨国公司及跨地区集团，开发区工业总产值、工商税收每年分别以60％、80％的超常规速度增长，连续两年实现经济总量翻番。已基本形成以汽车工业为龙头，以高新科技为先导，以造纸印刷为支撑，以食品饮料产业为骨干，其它产业同步推进的经济发展格局。
　　“黄鹤白云之畔，碧波长江之滨”，诗人是这样形容武汉的。站在开发区，凭栏眺望东西南北，在感叹武汉城市之气派、壮观的同时，又感受她的得“中”独厚和左右逢源的桥头堡优势。沌口开发区作为武汉市经济增长最快的地方，作为对外开放和改革的“窗口”、“试验田”，大胆探索，这样一个融技术开发于经济开发之中的先导区，到处闪烁着高科技之光，这样高科技的城市心脏一定会越跳越有力量！
