六城会闭幕式主创班底均为武汉本土导演。闭幕式总导演是城运会执委会大型活动部开幕式和闭幕式办公室副主任、国家一级导演严兵，武钢文艺团的姚晓明出任执行总导演，武汉市群众艺术馆馆长龚泽生担当副导演。

The master director of the closing ceremony is Yan Bing, the Deputy Director of the Opening and Closing Ceremony Office of Large-Scale Activity Department of Executive Committee of The City Games, and the First-level National Director; Yao Xiaoming of the Wuhan Iron & Steel Arts Group takes up the post of executive master director, and Gong Zesheng, the director of Wuhan Mass Art Museum, is the deputy director.
城运会闭幕式将于11月3日在汉口江滩举行，融参与性、互动性、娱乐性和观赏性为一体。江滩得天独厚的地理优势和人文氛围，将为闭幕式热烈、大气的场面铺排及气氛营造增添特别的光彩。
届时，闭幕式将在汉口江滩设置一个主会场和五个分会场，突破以往大型运动会闭幕式仪式和文体节目表演各自独立成篇的模式，把闭幕仪式完整地融于文体节目中，展示城运盛会为武汉带来的快乐和活力。

基调：体育“嘉年华”
　　 肖肇中说，六城会闭幕式方案经过多次汇报和修改，确定了在体育“嘉年华”中渲染激情、交流感情、展示风情的基调，整个闭幕式热烈、大气新颖。“六城会”闭幕式将全面注重全民健身热潮的氛围营造，展示这一体育盛会为武汉带来的快乐和活力。
六城会闭幕式最大的亮点是，以各种群众性全民健身活动展示和体育竞技比赛为依托，以精心营造的闭幕式主会场为轴心，形成一个参与性、互动性、娱乐性和观赏性为一体的主题突出、气势恢弘的体育盛会。

创意：江滩“五环”划分五大区域
整个闭幕式方案将汉口江滩的“群众体育项目及闭幕仪式主会场”分为五大活动区域，每一个区域一个主题。有以时尚体育为主题的区域；有以群众参与性强的全民健身内容为主的活动区域；有竞技比赛区域；有老少咸宜大众体育区域；更有“沙滩排球”等热门体育活动区域等。
　　 五大活动区域之一的闭幕式文艺表演，是整个闭幕式活动的主会场，它突破了以往闭幕式仪式和文艺节目各自独立成篇的模式，把六城会闭幕仪式完整有机地融合在节目当中。
为了进一步强化体育特色，弘扬奥运精神，特根据“五环”的意象，将江滩的“群众体育项目及闭幕仪式主会场”分为“蓝黄黑绿红”五大活动区域，使江滩呈现出一个色彩斑斓、气势恢弘的大“五环”。

The closing ceremony commences at Hankou Riverside on Nov. 3, which integrates participation, interaction, entertainment and appreciation into a whole. Advantaged geography and human culture of the riverside will help to create a special atmosphere and shine the closing ceremony.

There will be one main venue and five sub-venues arranged for the closing ceremony, which is different from the past mode in which the ceremony is separated from arts performances. The ceremony will be completely blended into the performances, which will show the joy and vigor of the Games.

Keynote: Sports “Carnival”
Xiao Zhaozhong said that the scheme for the closing ceremony has been reported and amended for many times, and finally we decide to stimulate enthusiasm and exchange feelings in a sports “carnival”, which will make the ceremony enthusiastic, magnificent and novel. In addition, the closing ceremony will attach much importance to encouraging people to do body exercise.

The closing ceremony for the 6th City Games is mainly characterized by showing body building activities and sports games among people, and creating splendid main venues so as to realize the integrating participation, interaction, entertainment and appreciation.

Creative: “Olympic Rings” Divided into Five Zones
The main venue for public sports activities and closing ceremony is divided into five major zones. Each zone has a theme, including fashion sports-oriented zone, pubic participation in body exercise-oriented zone, competition zone, pubic sports zone, and hot sports activities zone such as beach volleyball etc.
The zone for arts performance is the main venue of the whole closing ceremony, which is different from the past mode in which the ceremony is separated from arts performances, the ceremony will be completely and organically blended into the performances.

To further consolidate the sports characteristics, and carry forward the spirit of Olympic Games, main venue for public sports activities and closing ceremony is divided into “blue, yellow, black, green and red” zones based on the image of “Olympic Rings”, and a majestic “Olympic Rings” will appear at the riverside.
